Let not your heart be faint

Let not your heart be faint

Deuteronomy 20:3 – And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them.

Today we have so many issues around us; so many things happening around the world. There is a great fear in people’s heart today. The problems and expectations people have make their heart faint. We fear that we will not make it. If our sub-conscious mind is filled with negative thoughts; then our hearts get stagnated. We won’t know how to handle even the smallest problem. Feed your sub-conscious mind with God’s word and positive thoughts. We need to test our faith. Don’t be carried away stick to the word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. God loves us, cares for us and has a purpose for us. Your heart is the centre of your blessings. Your heart will be strengthened, rebuilt and will become healthy.

Deuteronomy 20: 1- 2 –  When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people

When you see the hard part of it, don’t be afraid, The Lord is with you. The enemy will try to bring fast horses, chariots and people against you. Never allow them to overcome you; they will try to destroy the salvation inside you. If you are in the hands of the Lord He will not let your heart faint.

2 Samuel 23:9-10 – And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder.

The Lord wants us to do what He did when He was in the earth; speak, heal and cast out demons. Jesus Christ has done it and we will do it because we are washed by His blood and the Holy Spirit lives in us. Let the sword of the Spirit get stuck to your hands. Hold on to the word of God and you will not be shaken, whatever comes against you. Look at the promise, the Lord will never leave you. You will not fear, you will see Victory in your individual life and in your family life and in the purpose for what God called you. No one will take away what belongs to you; hold on to the Word of God.

2 Samuel 23:11-12 – And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a piece of ground full of lentils. So the people fled from the Philistines. But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.

If you want victory, stand for your faith and defend it in Jesus name. The enemy can come against you from any side; but still you can defend and defeat him by taking the word of God in your hand. It belongs to you and the battle belongs to the Lord. You will chase the enemy no matter how fast the horses and chariots are, and how strong people are, you belong to the Lord. You keep defending and take your stand you will have the victory in Jesus name.

Galatians 6:9 – And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

In the right time God will accomplish what He wants us to do in our lives. You have the victory; don’t think about tomorrow. Allow God to work in your life. The enemy cannot take over you. Jesus has paid the price for all your problems. We have a God greater than the horses, chariots and people. God is going to break all bondages in your life. Don’t let your heart faint take up the sword of the Spirit and defend for what belongs to you. Amen.
