2 Kings 6: 15-17 – And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas my master! What shall we do?” So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
Every situation in our lives can change; if we allow God to change it. Fear not, God wants us to be blessed in a very special way. God wants us to be blessed by His way and not the way we want. We should know:
1. Our God is a prayer answering God
2. Our God gives us the confidence that He is going to answer our prayers
3. Our God brings the confidence to reality when we wait on Him.
2 Kings 6: 5-7 – But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.” So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself”. So he reached out his hand and took it.
The axe was borrowed and it was lost, but God made it float in the water. God is going to change the situation in our lives and we are going to see it. He will give the confidence to take the next step. When we confront some danger, we call up on God and ask for protection. We should not lose confidence, we should see what God can do and we should not fear.
Luke 24:31 – Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
Psalm 119:18 – Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from your law.
Let us not allow the enemy to blind our eyes with different kinds of sin. Let us allow God to open our eyes. We are made beautiful. Let us ask God to open our eyes to see the wonders of the Word of God. God will give His best for you.
Genesis 3:7 – Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
We read Adam and Eve started hiding themselves from God because they listened to the words of the devil. Are we hiding ourselves from prayer, from worship or from sharing the good news? When devil open the eyes, he will make you hide. If God opens your eyes, you will come out into light. God has chosen you and has a purpose for your life.
If you allow God to open your eyes, you can do miracles in the name of Jesus. You can see deliverance in your life. You can see miracles in your life. You will be able to preach the good news to some one and bring life inside that person and save their life. You will stand for God. Let your eyes be opened by God. Amen.
