Everyday blessings

Hope:

Psalms 31:24 – Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Every day is a new day for you; be of good courage. David speaks these words when he was in trouble. Encouragement and courage comes for people who hope in the Lord.

To be courageous, we should put our hope in the Lord.

Wait:

Psalms 27:14 – Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Wait on the Lord and then courage comes. Whatever you do, if you hope in the Lord and wait on the Lord; then you will receive the courage in the Lord.

Psalms 25:3 – No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse.

You will never be put to shame when your hope is in the Lord. When you wait on the Lord, you will be courageous and you will never be put to shame, because He has taken the shame on the cross instead of you. You don’t have to face the shame.

Encourage yourself in the Lord:

1 Samuel 30:1 – David and his men reached Ziklag on the third day. Now the Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They had attacked Ziklag and burned it.

1 Samuel 30: 4 – So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep.

1 Samuel 30:6 – David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.

David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep anymore. David was greatly distressed everything was against him, even his men wanted to stone him.

When you are in hard situation, when everything is off your way, when you are discouraged and when there is no one to help you, you won’t know what to do. But we read that David encouraged himself in the Lord.

Encourage yourself in the Lord. You will never loose courage; you will never be frightened about your hurdles, about your physical problems, about your spiritual situation or about your financial situation. Encourage yourself in the Lord even if no one is with you and you will see the Lord’s deliverance. You will receive deliverance in time because victory belongs to the Lord.

Keep His ways:

Psalms 37:34 –Wait for the Lord and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

Wait on the Lord and keep His ways. Daily walk with Jesus Christ, don’t take short cuts or even wrong ways. Instead, walk with Jesus.

Wait until you receive the answer:

Jeremiah 42:1, 2 – Then all the army officers, including Johanan son of Kareah and Jezaniah son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least to the greatest approached Jeremiah the prophet and said to him, “Please hear our petition and pray to the Lord your God for this entire remnant. For as you now see, thought we were once many, now only a few left.”

Jeremiah 42:4 – “I have heard you,” replied Jeremiah the prophet, “I will certainly pray to the Lord your God as you have requested; I will tell you everything the Lord says and will keep nothing back from you.”

Jeremiah 42:7 – Ten days later the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah.

Wait upon the Lord until you receive an answer. Don’t be discouraged. He will never let you to fail. His words are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. You should have strong faith. Build your house on the rock. He will fulfil all your dreams, no matter how big it is. You can do all things through Christ Jesus.

Be on your Guard:

1 Corinthians 16:13 – Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

Guard your prayer life, your spiritual life and stand firm in the faith. You will be blessed by the Lord. What is our future? Jesus said you will receive power when the Holy Ghost comes upon you. Your situation is in God’s Control. Your courage is in the Lord. Whatever you have lost God will return to you. Wait and hope in the Lord, Keep His ways and He will bless you. Amen
