TRUE FAITH

TRUE FAITH

Galatians 1:22, 23 – And I was unknown by face to the churches of Judea which were in Christ. But they were hearing only, “He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”

Paul in this book explains about the kind of faith he had. Once he tried to destroy it, but then after he met the Lord, he started to preach it. We need to have a great faith in the Lord Jesus to face the problems of this world.

Galatians 2:16 – Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

We will not be justified by our good works, but only by faith in the Son of God: Jesus Christ. We belong to Jesus. God only gave the law, but we will not be saved by the works of the law. Then why was law given to us?

Galatians 3:24 – Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

The law was given to us as a tutor or as a teacher. We are not rejecting the law or neglecting the law. But we understand that the law leads us to have faith in Jesus Christ.

The end of your faith is heaven and it comes when Jesus comes into your life, when Jesus becomes centre of your life and when Jesus has preeminence in your life.

Law brought fear. Sin increased and brought guilt on the Old Testament saints. Jesus Christ brought forgiveness through His blood and removed guilt and sin from our hearts.

1 Timothy 6:20, 21 – O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

Let us not wander away from our faith in Jesus. In Jesus name our problems will be solved

1 Timothy 1:5 – Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.

In King James Version it is recorded as unfeigned faith. It means accurate faith without even a small difference. No matter whoever or whatever stops us, we should confess our faith in Jesus Christ. All hindrance will be removed in the presence of the Lord. No one can stop us from what Jesus Christ wants to do in our life.

1 Timothy 1:14 – And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

The abundant faith we have in Christ Jesus shows or identifies who we are in Christ Jesus by bringing change in our lives.

1 Timothy 1:19 – having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck.

Our conscience is the center of our heart and destiny of our heart. Our conscience should be good and pure without sin. Operate your life in faith; you will be in the Arms of God. Amen.
