Special People to God

Special People to God

Genesis 37:1-4

Now Jacob dwelt in the land where his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. This is the history of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father. Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors. But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.

Joseph was a man who was faithful to the Lord all through his life. Joseph was a symbol of righteousness. Joseph had a tremendous character which influenced the Israelites. Joseph was a very special person before God. We need to become that special people to God.

God will bring mighty changes in this generation so that they will proclaim His word. God is changing the younger generation. We need to change our old perspective in our lives and become very special people to God. We need to become good witnesses for God. We need to proclaim healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus. We need to become the person that God wants to be.

Until and unless we realize that we are very special people, God cannot do anything in our lives. Joseph was hated by his brothers, was forced to sin, was put in prison, in all this he was sinless and righteous in the eyes of the Lord.

You are chosen by God, you are the ambassador of God. Whatever the situation or problem you have, you will not be the same, because God has chosen you. God said if you want to know me, ‘test me’ and ‘try me’. God is challenging you to live a different life. Do not bother what your brother thinks about you, but what God thinks about you. Take out the fear inside you.

Mark 6:7 – And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.

Mark 6:13 – And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.

Mark 6:49 – And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out;

Jesus gave His disciple’s power over unclean spirits and they cast out demons and healed many people, but we read that when they saw Jesus walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost and cried out. Where did the authority go? The disciples did not experience the authority within themselves. They did not activate the authority within themselves. It is very difficult to take the extra step for Jesus, but if you have the anointing constant in your life it is not difficult.

Joseph was different; you need to be different.  One verse from the word of God posted by you in the social media will change the life of people. You can make the difference, change your life style. Don’t compromise with sin and always be filled with the word of God. You can then resist the devil and he will flee from you.

God has given His wisdom and His spirit inside you and you will never be the same. God will use you. You will be the head and not the tail. Let us become people who will challenge every situation and live a victorious life and change the world.
