DAYS OF WORSHIP
May 24, 2011 @ 8:00 am - November 10, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
Psalm 149:6- May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands.
These are the days we should go close to the Lord in worship. God wants His people, His church to worship Him. We see David giving importance to give thanks to God, praising and glorifying God. We need to have the word of God as a double edged sword. Only the word of God can change us and bring a revival in us.
1 Chronicles 16:4- He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to make petition, to give thanks, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel.
David understood that only worship can renew lives. Let us start worshipping Him without restrictions and boundaries. You will see the power of God coming into your life. That is the power of worship. You will do greater things through worship.
Isaiah 5:20- Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
Isaiah 6: 5- “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
First Isaiah was speaking about the kind of people around him. But when he entered the presence of the Lord in Worship, he spoke about himself.
John 9:6, 7- Having said this, He spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
When the world and your neighbours put you out, Jesus will heal you.
John 9:25- He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know, I was blind but now I see!”
John 9: 35-38- Jesus heard that they had thrown him out and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
“Who is He, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.”
Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking to you.” Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and worshipped Him.
This blind man did not know Jesus or he had any idea of the bible, but when he came to knowing who the Son of God was, he immediately believed and worshipped Him.
If you want others to see you and recognise you, take out the blindness in you. Then people will see the blessings in your life and the change in your life.
The power of the Holy Spirit will help you to worship. When the power of the Holy Spirit is in your life, it will help you to be caught up in the midair soon. We will see Him face to face and worship Him. Worship will change your atmosphere and change your life.
If you have the anointing of the Lord, the evil spirits will flee. When you are in worship, you don’t have any fear. You can over come any situation. Get filled with the Holy Spirit and rise up. Amen.
