You will lack nothing

November 30, 2011 @ 8:00 am - November 30, 2020 @ 5:00 pm

1 Thessalonians 4:12 – That you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

This is a time when there are so many issues going on around the world. So many issues that the leaders of the countries cannot handle, they need to see the problems in the right way. The problems are not ending. The leaders lack something. They are not able to handle the situation. The church has the answer to all the problems. The world and its leaders should seek the Church and know that Savior Jesus has solution to all the problems.

1 Thessalonians 3: 10 – Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, And might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

I am perfect in Christ Jesus; we should understand that we need nothing. If you want to have a life of fullness you need to have faith.

Matthew 14:30 – But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

We read in Matthew 14:26, Jesus was walking on the sea and Peter asked Him, “Lord if it is you, command, me to come to you on the water”.  And Jesus said “Come.” Peter saw so many miracles Jesus has done and he knew who is calling him. Peter came down of the boat and started walking on the water towards Jesus. He started in faith, but when he started walking, his knowledge started working on him and he was afraid and began to sink. Even at this point, Peter cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Matthew 14:31 – And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Peter knew the Son of God, his Lord. Beyond all the thoughts of the enemy the hand of Jesus was stretched out for Peter and Jesus saved him. This is our Lord Jesus, whose hand is stretched out to save us. Peter was a small stone but Jesus was his rock. Today Jesus is our rock and refuge.

Jesus does not want you to lack in anything. Peter knew Jesus could help him out. Faith does not have plans and methodology. God wants to see faith rise in us and then God will raise His power in our life.

1 John 2:5 – But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

Faith works when we keep the word. You will see Jesus Christ coming towards us to save us when we are in trouble.  But we will not see the boisterous sea coming toward us in our lives.

1 John 4:7 – Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

God wants a blessing in your life. When the word of God is inside you, love expounds in you and faith will overflow in your life. When you are ready to face small stone coming in your life in faith, Jesus will remove big rocks from your way. You will lack nothing. Amen.
